Cleaner Embroidery on Textured Fabrics

Aqua-Soluble Embroidery Topping is a temporary stabilizer placed over the surface of a garment before embroidery. It helps prevent stitches from sinking into textured, plush, or high-pile fabrics, producing cleaner lettering, sharper details, and a more professional finish.

After embroidery is complete, the excess topping is removed, leaving the stitches visible above the fabric surface.

Embroidery stitches can disappear into loops, pile, and textured surfaces. Aqua-soluble topping creates a smooth temporary layer above the fabric, helping the embroidery remain supported and visible while the design is stitched.

How to Use

Place the topping over the embroidery area and secure it so it remains flat during stitching. Hoop the garment with the appropriate backing beneath it, or use another suitable stabilization method.

After embroidery, carefully tear away the excess topping. Remove any remaining material according to the product instructions. Always test the topping on unfamiliar or delicate fabrics before production.

Important Note

Aqua-soluble topping is used on top of the garment and does not replace the embroidery backing needed beneath the fabric.
